The Real Me

March 30, 20201 min read

JB and Casie Shreve look at the reality of the crisis in a believer’s life. The crisis is not something for us to hide from or seek to escape. It is actually a key tool of God that He uses to craft and shape us for personal spiritual maturity. The crisis shows us who we truly are and invites us to go deeper with God to adjust the places where we are weak and fragile.

“My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” James 1:2-4.

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.” Matthew 5:8

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. James 1:5
