This is one of my all time favorite verses. Consider when these words were first inscribed into the Psalms, most people still believed the world was flat, sea monsters sat in the far off waters. Those who go down to the sea in ships, the ones who live at the edge of what is known and unknown, they get to see the works of the Lord. Their faith is tested, tried, and made real so that they see the majesty and might of our God that few others ever behold!
