In the Sermon on the Mount, and with so much of Jesus’ teaching, we learn that in the Kingdom of God, everything comes back to the heart. The heart is the foundation of the human engagement with the King of the Kingdom. It is also the measurement that Christ returns to over and over again as He describes the Kingdom of God.
