If you have been following our podcast series on LGBT Facts & Fictions you have listened as episodes so far have removed the veil covering the history of LGBT and the so called “science” of LGBT. More episodes will be coming soon in this unique podcast series that gets to the truth beyond agendas and beyond political correctness.

I wanted to point out two articles I have recently come across that give hint to the direction and issues we will soon be looking at in this podcast series.

The first is a story out of Ecuador from the BBC. (I try not to distribute stories from disreputable sources. Some of this stuff is so weird it is difficult to distinguish between fact and fiction.)

The Transgender Family Where the Father Gave Birth

This is the story of two transgenders who are now having a baby. Neither have had “gender reassignment surgery” so the girl who has taken on the “father” role and identity had the baby. It should be noted that the article points out they are also both LGBT activists. This is not merely about their happiness but also about their rights (and agenda).

The second story is out of New Mexico USA about a mother and son who have fallen in love. This story has been featured prominently in media around the world but with the exception of political web sites it is not being talked about too much in the US.

A 36 year old mother gave her son up for adoption when she was 16. Now, the mother and son have reunited and are in love. They are also guilty of violating incest laws in all fifty states where their love affair is illegal. Their relationship became sexual shortly after their reunion. The two explain there are guilty of nothing but instead have a condition known as Genetic Sexual Attraction (GSA).

The condition referred to as GSA has as much scientific and biological basis in reality as transgenderism does. (Download the podcast episode Identity Crisis here at the End of History if you need some help on this one.)

Depending upon which side of the modern culture wars you sit these relationships come across as perversion, sickness, or enlightenment. We will get into all of that in the podcast series’ future episodes.

It is important to recognize the philosophical underpinnings that are being utilized in these stories. These are not stories about personal rights, sexual freedom, or political expression.

Fundamentally these are stories about what is right and what is wrong.

These are stories that reflect a shift taking shape in our society about how we define what is right and what is wrong. When we remove morality and the Word of God as the basis for what defines right and wrong what do we replace it with?

In the current context right and wrong are being defined by what makes us happy and what is popular and accepted. If it makes you happy it can’t be bad. (Cue the Sheryl Crow song.) And people cannot oppose individual happiness. Therefore, right (or righteousness) is now defined as what makes us happy and what is embraced and tolerated socially.

For now, there are issues that still remain outside the pale and are understood as wrong, immoral and unacceptable. These would include rape, bestiality, pedophilia to name a few. How long does that last though?

If a 12 year old boy says he is in love with a 60 year old man and their love makes them both happy – are the modern standards of right and wrong strong enough to maintain and enforce morality that has been common sense up to now? I doubt it.

And because these issues are fundamentally about a collapse of right and wrong in the modern world we can expect to arrive at these questions soon. Behaviors and lifestyle that were considered wrong, immoral, perverted and deviant just two decades ago are now being lauded as free and progressive in the world we live in today.

Believers need to understand what is happening in the world today. They also need to understand where they stand and build their houses on the solid rock of the word of God.
