Elisha’s ministry lasted nearly 50 years. That’s a half century of extensive engagement with the surrounding society of northern Israel.

1. What do you I in Elisha’s servant Gehazi that prevented or obstructed the work of this mighty prophet? 

The Shunammite woman is a famous co-star in the stories of Elisha. She was a very honorable woman and very attentive to the needs of Elisha the prophet, even going beyond his stated requests.

2. How do I serve the people called by God? Am I actively or passively engaged?
